We would like to start this article with a big THANK YOU, for applying within our 1st Call for Proposals!

The application phase of the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary Serbia Programmes' 1st Call for Proposals has successfully finished! Within the deadline which was set to 31 July 2023 at 15:00 CET, our Programme received 145 project proposals, which spread out from Small to Regular and finally to Large Scale Projects, and cover the following Programme Priorities and Objectives:

1. A greener region
1.1 Climate change adaptation, risk prevention - 24 applications received
1.2 Biodiversity and reduced pollution - 12 applications
2. Enhancing the human and cultural values
2.1 Education and lifelong learning - 20 applications
2.2 Culture and tourism - 48 applications
3. Cross-border institutional and civil cooperation
3.1 Harmonious neighbourly relations through cooperation - 41 application

As you can see, some of the listed objectives have attracted a great attention of applicants and resulted in a large number of application received within those objectives. We believe this means that we will have a lot of great projects contracted, when we reach that phase of the Programme implementation. So far, our Programme focuses now on the Formal and Administrative assessment of the received applications. The projects' contact personnel might expect some clarification questions to be received in the weeks to come, despite the still ongoing summer holidays. Further more into the ongoing processes, we can say that the tentative date for the completion of the formal assessment is set to  October/November 2023, which will be followed by the quality assessment and the decision-making Monitoring Committee (MC) meeting. Only at that point we will know the exact list of projects offered a Subsidy contract, and publish the list of the contracted ones, hopefully by the end of year 2023 and beginning of 2024.

Additional 1st CfP data:
we are proud to share the information that the total number of project partners (institutions) from our Programme area who were involved in the preparation and are part of the submitted 145 project proposals - is 386! That the total requested funds more than doubled the EU contribution available in this Call, and that the projects titles indicate that we will have dynamic projects implementation with a great impact on the harmonic development of our CBC region! Again :)

We now continue our assessment work.
