The CARAVAN project is a cross-border initiative between Hungary and Serbia, that aims to address ageism and socio-economic challenges faced by older populations through participatory theatre and artistic activism. The project encompasses multiple dimensions, including research on ageism that will result in policy recommendations, applied theatre performances in various locations, and public engagement through flash mobs and video animations. These activities are designed to reach diverse audiences and create meaningful dialogue between generations. By combining artistic expression with policy advocacy, the project aims to create lasting impact while promoting EU values of equality and human rights. This comprehensive approach ensures that the initiative addresses both immediate community needs and long-term societal changes regarding attitudes toward aging and intergenerational relationships.
