Project Description:

The DanceTour project takes a comprehensive approach to tourism development and cultural promotion. Through a destination marketing campaign, based on films, social media promotion, a film festival and youth exchange camps, it highlights the region's cultural and natural treasures. Folk dance is integrated in the campaign to foster unity, understanding, and cross-border cooperation, making the CBC region an attractive and vibrant destination while preserving its rich heritage for future generations.

The inclusion of Serbian and Hungarian folk dances and costumes in these activities serves a twofold purpose. Firstly, it contributes to the preservation of cultural traditions, safeguarding and celebrating the unique heritage of the region, while on the other hand, it fosters a deeper understanding and knowledge of CBC culture, promoting cultural exchange and mutual appreciation between the two nations.
