The SharingValues project aims to enhance tourism in the cross-border area between Hungary and Serbia by developing a competitive, sustainable, and socially inclusive tourism offer. The initiative establishes a unified visual identity and brand that will support effective long-term marketing activities.
Special emphasis is placed on the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage, combining the region’s tangible and intangible values with other local tourism assets.
The project is based on the principles of slow tourism, focusing attention on cultural and natural heritage as well as lesser-known but valuable local sites. A priority is placed on preserving historically protected but deteriorated buildings through their revitalization and tourism-oriented use. By expanding the tourism offer, the project aims to increase visitor numbers, extend their stays, and boost tourism revenues.
The project will result in a sustainable tourism infrastructure and branded offer that provide a foundation for future development initiatives. It aligns with the three pillars of the New European Bauhaus initiative: enriching, sustainable, and inclusive.
