The Monitoring Committee (MC) of the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary Serbia has approved the list of projects proposed for contracting, during it’s 3rd meeting held on 27 February 2024 in Novi Sad. 57 projects are now proposed for contracting, absorbing more then 22.5 million euros.

The Monitoring Committee (MC) of the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary Serbia has approved the list of projects proposed for contracting, during it’s 3rd meeting held on 27 February 2024 in Novi Sad. Based on this, the Joint Secretariat will start preparing the official notification letters to all the Lead Applicants who have submitted their projects within the 1st Call for Proposals, with explanations how to proceed. 

The list of projects proposed for contracting exposes some interesting statistical data:
In total, out of 141 applications received and 135 which passed the formal assessment, 56* projects are now proposed for contracting!
This number includes 25 Small scale (SSP) and 31* Regular scale projects (RSP), with a following distribution through the available Programme objectives:
O1.1 - Climate change adaptation, risk prevention – 11 projects proposed for contracting (3 SSP, 8 RSP)
O1.2 - Biodiversity and reduced pollution - 6 projects proposed for contracting (4 SSP, 2 RSP)
O2.1 - Education and lifelong learning - 6 projects proposed for contracting (3 SSP, 3 RSP)
O2.2 - Culture and tourism - 14* projects proposed for contracting (2 SSP, 12* RSP)
O3.1 - Harmonious neighbourly relations through cooperation - 19 projects proposed for contracting (13 SSP, 6 RSP).

The total amount of IPA funds covered by proposed list for all 56* projects is just above 22.5 million euros, with SSP absorbing close to 4 million, while RSP projects just above 18.5 million euros.
