Project Description:

National borders separate and connect. Archaeological artifacts show that this region was once part of a vast Bronze Age community. Today, Bačka’s culture and identity are deeply rooted in centuries of coexistence among diverse ethnicities, shaped by common landscapes, economic factors, and a heritage of multilingualism, multiculturalism, and tolerance. These European values are evident in the region’s unified cultural heritage. This project aims to honor this legacy through activities that promote connection, shared history, and cultural identity. By fostering collaboration among cultural and educational institutions, it highlights the rich European identity and heritage of Bačka, engaging local communities and visitors alike.
