Parks4All: Empowering Hungarian and Serbian Cultural Scenes for Sustainable Tourism in Public Green Spaces

Over the next 24 months, 36 young cultural managers and artists from two countries will unite through 19 innovative and inclusive events in public green spaces. Activities include 4 trainings, 2 study visits, 4 artistic residencies, 4 festivals, a closing conference, and a manual for organizing events.

Project Description:

Exciting News from Parks4All!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new project aimed at strengthening the cooperation and capacity of Hungarian and Serbian contemporary cultural and creative scenes! Over the next 24 months, we will be working with 36 young cultural managers and artists, with a special focus on those from vulnerable groups, to create sustainable tourism offerings.

This project will unite diverse talents from both countries through 19 innovative and inclusive educational, networking, and cultural events in public green spaces.

Here's what to expect: 4 trainings and 2 study visits, 4 artistic residences, and as the crown of the project - 4 innovative festivals in Serbia and Hungary showcasing contemporary art and actively involving the community.

A closing conference and a "Manual for Organizing Events in Public Green Spaces" will present the project results and showcase new innovative and sustainable cultural cooperation methods.

(Expected) Results:

Outputs:

Network of 20 young managers and artists from Hungary and Serbia formed,
4 five-day trainings conducted for 20 cultural managers and artists,
2 study visits organized to map green areas for festival implementation,
4 artistic residencies conducted for 16 selected artists,
4 three-day festivals held in two towns and two cities in SER and HU,
1 conference organized to present best practices for 100 people,
5 promotional campaigns conducted in order to promote the project,
1 after movie created and
1 Manual for organizing events in green spaces.

Outcomes:

  • enhanced capacities of cultural managers and producers in planning and managing festivals using innovative, inclusive and environmentally friendly approaches;
  • improved cultural scene and touristic offer in participating territories, through development of innovative and sustainable tourism offerings;
  • increased awareness of ecological, inclusive and sustainable principles in cultural events and tourism offerings among local authorities and stakeholders;
  • improved visibility of the project and cultural scene through conducting a comprehensive promo-campaign on both sides of the border to inform the public about the fresh and upcoming cultural scene.
