Project Description:

The "Transnational Awareness & Revitalization through Green Engagement Together" (TARGET) project is a collaborative environmental initiative between Hungarian and Serbian organizations focused on enhancing climate change awareness and adaptation among young people. This comprehensive project combines educational, technological, and artistic approaches to promote environmental conservation and community engagement.
A unique aspect of the project is the 'Walking Trees' initiative, which involves moving large trees to different locations while engaging volunteers and creating public awareness
The project addresses pressing challenges including climate change, environmental degradation, and limited public awareness, particularly in urban areas of Hungary and Serbia. Through the collaboration of educational institutions, non-profit organisations, and local government units, the project aims to build regional capacity for climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention.
