The Joint Secretariat of Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary - Serbia Programme is looking for an IVY volunteer!
The volunteer will support the Interreg Programme “IPA Hungary - Serbia”, which aims to foster and encourage the harmonious cross-border development of the region by co-financing innovative projects implemented by organizations across the Programme area. The opportunity is based in Budapest, Hungary, starting in September 2026, for a period of 6 months.

Our Programme is proud to be part of the Interreg Volunteer Youth (IVY) family!
The selected volunteer will support the Programme’s communication and outreach activities by carrying out tasks such as:

• Promoting Programme projects and sharing updates with stakeholders and potential project partners;
• Drafting and distributing newsletters and helping organize webinars;
• Documenting project progress, milestones, and outcomes;
• Compiling success stories, capturing photos, and recording video testimonials;
• Contributing innovative ideas for the Programme’s communication platforms;
• Creating draft content for the Programme’s online channels under the supervision of the Joint Secretariat;
• Creating content plans for the Programme’s social media channels;
• Assisting in the design of promotional materials, including booklets, newsletters, and templates;
• Producing tutorial videos for beneficiaries on project implementation processes with the support of Programme colleagues;
• Assisting in the organisation of Programme-level promotional events;

What support will the volunteer receive?
The Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) provides:

Financial support
A daily allowance of €29.08 per day (including weekends and public holidays) to help cover accommodation and living expenses.

Insurance coverage
Full health, accident, and liability insurance throughout the volunteering period.

Travel contribution
A contribution towards relocation and travel costs, calculated according to the distance between the volunteer’s residence and the host organisation.
